I think snowflakes are one of the most amazing natural occurrences in this world. Somehow these perfectly balanced, geometrical, fractal, symmetrically-fantasitic wonders of the universe miraculously fall from the sky. Each one totally unique. There’s something so completely inspiring about waking up to fresh powder, it’s like a blank canvas… Whenever I’m lucky enough to go hiking or riding in fresh snow, my mind goes a million miles an hour thinking of all the things I’m grateful for, and all the exciting things I hope to accomplish in the future.

This is also a good time to reflect on the past year and think about what we hope to change or expand upon moving forward. According to Chinese astrology, 2015 is the year of the sheep, which is a symbol of peace and prosperity. Many predict this year to bring resolutions to conflicts, and calmness to turmoil. Which will create space for growth and new awareness. Looking forward to all it will bring, happy new year!
