It is with great excitement that I present my first book! Who knew it would be written for 1 - 2 year olds:) My life in Boulder has been truly amazing... spending so much time in the mountains has inspired many pieces of artwork that all hold a special place for me. I wrote the phrases for this book hiking the same trails that inspired the artwork, and I believe that synergy created something pretty special.

This is a project that's been 10+ years in the making. Although if you had told me when I first started out that this artwork would someday become a children's board book, I probably wouldn't have believed you. I didn't even know what a "board book" was up until I started reading them to our son Robin. Now we have dozens of them. They are perfect for grubby little hands! These books feature thick cardboard pages with a high-gloss coating that can really take a beating. I did hours of research to determine the perfect length and size for this book. Big and colorful enough to keep them engaged, and short enough to make it through:) While this was completely new territory for me, I'm very happy with how it all turned out!

There is nothing quite as special as reading to your kids, it's an organic bonding experience; building memories that last a lifetime. I hope the kiddos and parents alike will enjoy reading through these pages as much as I did creating them!
